Oh, I did. It used to be on just about the time when I was getting in from work, so I’d settle down with a coffee. I’ve just looked at the show’s Wiki entry and there’s a list (incomplete I think) of chefs who appeared - surprising just how many seem to have completely faded away.
I used to enjoy Bill Granger’s show when it aired in the U.S. I also like Luke Nguyen
I’m on the fence about Oliver but think his Jamie Cooks Italy series are enjoyable, only because so many local grannies show him how it’s done.
This week in the gym I’ve been watching Nigella’s My Kitchen episodes. How utterly frustrating that there’s very few and very brief shots of the food, mostly close-ups of her non stop talking face!
A programme just right before Nigella’s is Poh and Co. Does the US get her series? She’s another Malaysian-Australian Masterchef contestant.
Just remember an American chef I like:Judy Joo. She’s pleasant to look at and I like her style.
What are"no lookers"?
ETA; Ohhhhhhh!
Not good looking, to put it mildly. But the point is they are a distracting part of her show.
