Love the Schmoo Torte name! The cake doesn’t look bad either, though too labor-intensive for me to want to make.

How’s about some Dodger Dogs for the party?

Too soon? (ducking)

I guess someone did mention Dodger Dogs in this thread before, @ML8000!

How are Dodger Dogs different than Yankee Stadium Dogs or SkyDome Dogs?

The only hot dogs I’ve eaten in California have been from Caspar’s and Jasper’s.

I don’t get emotional about sports, and I’m not attached to the outcome, so, nope, not too soon.

Dodger Dogs are or were actually not very good. Farmer John use to make them, all pork. My mom bought those as a kid and I do NOT miss them at all. Now there’s a new vendor, about 3 years ago, but haven’t had the Dodger dog since.

In any case about the World Series, honestly the Dodgers owner said it best…”we got lucky”. I agree. It could have easily gone either way. There was plenty of greatness and weirdness on both sides.

And both hot dogs are available in Bay Area supermarkets.
