Food Fight. Loch Arbour

Wow. That is something.

Oy. I grew up in Ocean Township and spent a lot of time at Loch Arbor beach in the late 70s and early 80s. This sort of dynamic with the Syrians in the area (Deal, Ocean, etc.) was already getting going back then, so that part of the story doesn’t surprise me. It does surprise me that the village would have given the snack bar lease to a fancy restaurant in the first place.

I saw this article the day after I was chatting w a doctor of mine who’s a member of Allenhurst Beach Club. I brought up the changes to Mr. C’s and he started telling me all of the other stuff going on in Allenhurst and Loch Arbor. 9.5 years living in AP and I never even knew there was a snack bar in LA!

Why not a simple solution - a second (or third) snack bar?

Loch Arbor isn’t big enough for two snack bars.
