Clean-up on aisle 4!
Two of my favorite Hitchcock episodes. The police enjoyed eating the murder weapon while trying to investigate the crime. And, ”Lamb Armistan”, which was only served when a member of the club was leaving on a long expedition. Curiously , the honoree never showed up for his celebration, and was never seen or heard from again. I understand they were delicious.
I mean… I can’t imagine bludgeoning someone with a frozen lamb leg would much impact the flavor. I approve! If it were cooked and seasoned, then no, definitely don’t hit someone with it.
He must have been quite tall.
I just remember it was the talk of the town for several days
or, quite… umm
Probably both.
True crime committed against one of the best family run businesses I know. This happened in the little farm town where I teach. Crime know no geography.
If you can sell it, you can steal it.
For cryin’ out loud, it’s $4.50 a lb. Just pay the bill. Damn good Muenster, though.
It may be $4.50/lb, but he obviously needed more than that.
he allegedly provided false paperwork to the distributor of the K&K Cheese in Cashton last week to get the 42,000 pounds of cheese
So premeditated and carefully planned. Who knew muenster is so rare in NJ?
Not me! It was almost always in the fridge when I was growing up. I had no idea how good I had it!
Was gonna say, I bet they have good dairy in N.J.
Nah, Jersey is more tomato and blueberry country. PA is dairy land. (Both have good corn at this time of year though).
Really? You’re sweet corn is all ready to eat? Pretty fast by WI standards. We always have to wait until August.
Just got the first (for me) of the season this week. Our corn is generally early July through August.
If I drive an hour west, I can have it freshly picked by the Amish kids (and by freshly I mean they run into the field to get it). But starting soon I’ll be able to drive the 10 mins to get it from the local farmers. Added benefit? Both Lancaster and Montgomery Counties have excellent dairy farms where I can get fresh ice cream
Grr. We have a bunch in the store, but most are willing to wait for the local stuff.
