I’ll only state for the record that I feel the 9th Circuit is right as usual. I’ve resolved to never again take the troll bait and express my views on foie gras and gavage, Nothing else I have ever done or said online has earned me more contumely, and my self-deportation from eGullet was the result of having major shade thrown at me by one of the top-level administrators over this subject
