Five Philly restaurants worth watching [Philadelphia]

That squash blossom tlayuda at Amá looks amazeballz. No wonder I wasn’t familiar with any of the other places. Neither Kensington, nor West Chester are nabes we spend a lot of time in.

But Fishtown is doable.

@Bigley9 — any input on these?

West Chester is like 22 miles west of 69th St terminal…

first fight your way out of the city, then fight through the traffic & lights on West Chester Pike . . .

same issue with NYC recommendations - it’s a big place, you could be hungry by the time you get home . . .

Yup, LaBan gets around more than most folks do.

I hate to admit I dont get to Fishtown/Kensington all that often so I haven’t been to these. I am excited that Honeysuckle is going a la carte - it is 2 blocks from my office but I’m not pulling a couple coworkers out for a pre fixe at a restaurant none of us has been to!

I was hoping to get to Andiario with one of my neighbors whose daughter was going to West Chester University - unfortunately she transferred after a year :slightly_frowning_face:
