Fish and chips in [Toronto] and [the GTA]

I always preferred vinegar based coleslaw like Pickle Barrel as opposed to the more popular creamy type.

OMG .. that brings back memories. We haven’t found any fried clam strips here to rival the ones we had in Halifax years ago.

On a drive from up the New England coast, we sampled fried clams at many places. Our favourite was the Clam Box in Ipswich.

Yup, I do like Diana’s Oyster Bar fish & chips at lunch. At least when I’m not eating the super-delicious, $26.00 lobster & crab roll with a side of clam chowder (included for the price). Honestly, lunchtime at Diana’s is one of the best bargains in the east.

The salads at Diana’s are not an afterthought. They’re solidly good.
