Hello! I’m new here. Looking for some thoughts on Lucie vs Joni restaurants in Toronto. I’m looking for a place to celebrate my birthday and will be getting the tasting menu. They’re a bit different of vibes but I like them both. The date I’m looking for at Joni - they have a residency chef coming in from the restaurant Pur in France. I’m open to doing the regular tasting menu that they offer. They also might have live music which would be lovely. However, the chef at Lucie will be leaving at the end of the month. We don’t do lavish meals often so I what to pick the “right” place. I’ve previously been to George and it was wonderful but looking to try something new.
Does anyone have amazing experiences with Lucie they can share? I’ve read a few mixed reviews.
