With my foodie brother-in-law as company. Tonight, I paid this time-honored, local Italian Trattoria favorite, a long overdue revisit. We were surprised to notice some well-loved house specialties are still present in the current menu after all these years! These included the nicely charred, ‘packed with appealing wok-hay aroma‘ grilled Calamari with Olives and Cherry Tomatoes, the fork tender, gorgeously caramelized, deeply flavorful braised Lamb Shank and a seldomly found ‘Banana Bread Pudding‘ dessert. Churning out masterfully prepared offerings that feature mesmerizingly delicious taste profiles, the skilled and deep-rooted kitchen team did not miss a beat in their execution!
Extra dishes like the Steamed Mussels with olives and spicy tomato sauce, and a perfectly pink, Roasted Rack of Lamb with butter tossed Gnocchi were added to augment the main core dishes. These additions were also superbly presented and delightfully delicious.
Furthermore, we received unparalleled and exemplary service from our super friendly, professional and attentive lady server - Zoey, which rounded up a near perfect dining experience
Overall, a nice, cozy and intimate venue featuring some well prepared, tasty and casual fare served by amiable staff! Perfect total package for a relaxing night-out with good company!
