Which makes me even more surprised that they wrote this pointless boring song about how nice the clambake was.

Some foods get more than their share of songs; others get comparatively neglected. When a song mentions pine nuts, one tends to take notice, even though there might also be dancing.

I’ve never harvested lentils. But wherever these lentil fields are that Bernarda Fink and Maurice Ravel are taking me, I think I’d prefer to stay a while.
