Fancy finger-food platters, East Bay

We are putting together a memorial service and after looking at caterers, decided to go with bringing in some platters of fancy finger food.

My sister suggested the Rockridge Market Hall, but does anyone have any other ideas? Price not an object.

Thanks!

We hosted a memorial service at our house two weeks ago and used Rick and Ann’s catering. Very reliable. Little biscuit sandwiches and the mushroom pinwheels are always a hit.

Worth mentioning: the food works with an older, possibly food-conservative crowd.

Second recommendation for Ann’s Catering. I’ve never ordered it myself, but I’ve eaten it a couple times for special teacher appreciation lunches. The fried chicken mini sandwiches are really good.

What did the deceased like? At one service, we were able to get the recipe for her favorite pasta salad. One in our group was able to put it together in a professional kitchen and we served the salad in little plastic condiment cups with little canape type forks. It was perfect with all the other cold little goodies, and it was a nice tribute to our friend.
