We took a day trip to Kurashiki from Okayama. Kurashiki is Japan’s Jean Capital, Denim culture is very strong in this region. We took the local Jean Bus to Mt. Washuzan (actually a 133 metre hill), a nice hike to build a good appetite for lunch.

Tempted to stop at this semi-famous Coffee Shop on the way back down.
Fought the temptation and resolutely hiked through some nice scenery to our destination, LUNCH!!!

Kurashiki is also known for Octopus, we had passed the fishing boats bobbing along the shoreline. Don’t get fresher than that!!!
