Ex-SFBA chef Sophinia Uong gets NYTimes mention

Sophinia Uong was one of our fav chefs to follow in the SFBA. We followed her from Pican to Calavera to Revival, and no matter what the cuisine, she brought creativity and precision to the menu. She is an amazing chef.

She left the Bay Area, and ended up in New Orleans with her husband. Their restaurant in Uptown, Mister Mao, opened in 2021 and got a plug from the NY Times in a travel article on New Orleans:
