There’s a floating Chinese restaurant in my hometown. The food was actually quite decent, and it used to do an hour ride on the Rhine, but it’s been safely anchored since 2012.

The famous Jumbo Restaurant in Hong Kong harbour sunk in June.

It was being towed to another location, so no diners were inconvenienced.

I remember going to the Jumbo as a kid (probably my first visit to HK). Remember it being like a movie set inside… very ornate verging on tacky. Don’t recall the food at all. I don’t think I heard if they attempted to salvage any part of it
