@elvisahmed some items from Emmer (but not all apparently) are now available through UberEats

Take-out veg beet borscht with toast.
An almond croissant for my DC.
I have been visiting for around 7 years. First time to see the patio covered in spray-painted tags.
$20 for a BLT?!?!?!

It is really big. I need to start bringing a kitchen scale to weigh these sandwiches, to give some idea of scale. That said, Emmer does gouge a bit.
Wonder how much the Black Camel is charging these days.
Made-Rite (much less bougie than Emmer) charges $14 for their BLT.
You’re kidding of course ![]()
I don’t care how big it is, it can’t be worth $20(TWSS)
$12.25
Much more reasonable, even if it is smaller
I factor in the TTC fare vs somewhere walkable.
I like Made-Rite and Emmer’s BLTs more than Black Camel’s Pancetta LT.
I have been paying around $19-$20 for big or fancy sandwiches downtown lately.
I’m open to paying up to $29 for a big sandwich or burger, $29 for a really good Cobb salad or main course salad, $35 for pasta/gnocchi.
Enjoy!! ![]()
Yes, they have.
We’ve been eating them almost daily for over a week now. My favourite is sauteed in butter, then cooked in cream with some salt and white pepper until slightly thick. It’s fantastic over eggs and home fried potatoes. We are fortunate enough to have ramps growing in our woods.
