I don’t even eat eggs and I noticed this method from @Nannybakes because she cooks so beautifully and seemingly effortlessly.

[IMG_9089] [IMG_9090] Poached egg in microwave, tried this out of curiosity as I have no problem doing them stovetop. Well this fooled me and came out perfectly. One cup water is brought to the boil, pinch salt. Gently place egg in water, cook at 80% power. This took exactly one minute cook time. Buttered the toast and removed with a slotted spoon. Serious eats was the source.
