Dubai chocolate

Magnum has jumped on the Dubai train…

I saw another rather shocking Dubai product last week at Total Wine…

“France - A bold twist on tradition: this pistachio-infused wine blends creamy nut notes with silky sweetness, echoing the indulgent flair of Dubai-style chocolate. A luscious treat, perfect for sharing with others.”

10% ABV - so basically a sugar bomb and you won’t even get a buzz?!? Hard pass.

Ew. All those wine-based dessert “liqueurs” sold in grocery stores are disgusting. I imagine this is similar.

Just tried the milk chocolate variety. Bleh. One square was enough to satisfy my curiosity. Too sweet.

A wonderfully light & airy Dubai chocolate cake from a newish local patisserie.

Not too sweet, yet very satisfying.

Now THIS looks like something I could definitely get behind! (Although my behind would definitely get larger if I ate this!)

Looks amazing!

It really was. We were expecting something much richer, heavier, and were pleasantly surprised.

That’s undoubtedly the best looking “Dubai” thing I’ve seen.

Perhaps no surprise that a local bakery’s product would be superior to mass-produced, low quality chocolate chasing a trend.
