I have a soft spot for these, and they make for a nice small treat. HOWEVER, I cannot for the life of me figure out why the wrappers for both vanilla and chocolate are absolutely identical — as in, there is only one way to find out which is which: by carefully caressing the top of each mini, bc the chocolate ones have a decorative chocolate line on top, whereas the vanilla does not (as evidenced in this pic):
Wouldn’t it make more sense if they came in different colors, or some other way to tell them apart than … feeling them up?

Dove was my go-to in China 20 years ago when their convenience stores had limited chocolate provisions.
The choices were Dove, Snickers, and Ferrero Rocher, plus a couple of shady mainland knock-off brands.
Must be designed by the same person who did the shampoo and conditioner bottles on my recent vacation! Both tiny bottles are the same color, same color caps, with only the product name in small print.
That aside, I do enjoy Dove ice cream and will have to look for these on my next supermarket run.

My Redken shampoo and conditioner also look completely identical, and it still happens occasionally that I use the wrong bottle by mistake
