A new gyro place just opened in Harrison, on Halstead Ave. across from the post office. Dmitris Gyros. Had a decent gyro sandwich for $7.95. Looks nice - mostly a take-out place but has a few small tables. The baklava looked good but didn’t try it. Menu includes things like greek salads, souvlaki, falafel, etc. plus some nice touches like Loukoumades (Greek donuts in syrup).

Went back to Dmitris and ordered a few platters for take-out (falafel, gyro, souvlaki). Happy to report all the food was good, and the platters were pretty big (For $14 you get gyro meat, pita, greek salad and hummus … two platters can easily feed 3 people.
