Oh la Vache! 2 Rue d’Austerlitz, 31000 Toulouse, France
We were transiting through Toulouse waiting for our sleeper train to the north - and we had time for dinner - we sat outside watching the traffic and pedestrians go past.
We had an amazing pasta with sauteed foie on top - (I know, it sounds over the top but it was really quite tasty and I was craving pasta after 6 days in the countryside.
My husband had a memorable pasta with sea anemone. The color was gorgeously orange and the flavor was briney and creamy but not too much. Very tasty.
We were only in town for 9 hours - ate at Oh La Vache and le Magret (upstairs above the old marketplace). Le Magret was also very good - standard fare - cassoulet and other delicious crowd pleasers.
