Dinner for a hundred along HWY24 corridor

Organizing a dinner gathering for about 100 people for Sunday in two weeks, somewhere from Oakland/Berkley to Walnut Creek/Concord. Can only come up with East Ocean Seafood Restaurant in Alameda, Saigon Seafood Harbor Restaurant in Richmond and Uncle Yu’s in Lafayette. Don’t find much recent reports. Any other suggestions/comments? Chinese cuisine is not a requirement but they seem to have large banquet facilities. Many thanks in advance.

Scott’s Walnut Creek?

Finding banquet space for 100 on a weekend in two weeks is pretty tough, because space is usually reserved way in advance by wedding parties, etc… If you want Chinese, I suggest calling every Chinese restaurant to see if they have space first.

Others that I think have banquet facilities:
Peony in Oakland Chinatown
Hong Kong East Ocean in Emeryville
Pacific Lighthouse Restaurant, Alameda. They are newer. so perhaps its easier to get in.
Bay Fung Tong in Uptown Oakland, if ambiance is not a big deal.
