I know it’s sort of weird to post about a supermarket, but this one is really spectacular. The newest DeCicco and Sons is absolutely beautiful. The grocery section is spacious (much moreso than my local DeCicco’s) and has the same well curated selection of groceries as the other locations (and high prices, but I digress). But the star of the show is the second floor bar and dine-in area, complete with a spacious outdoor patio area. The large square bar seats probably about 30, and I counted 29 beers on tap, appealing to even the most discerning beer lovers (like my husband). There is a pizza shop up there with what looks like a fancy Italian oven putting out pizzas that hopefully taste as good as they look (I will post back when we try one). You can scan the QR code on your table to have food delivered to you. The seating area is comfortable with ample seats, including large family style tables, perfect for meeting up with groups of friends. There is really cool Headless Horseman swag everywhere (costumes, painting, etc) in a nod to the location. There’s even a room for nursing mothers. They thought of everything. We will be back often!
