Dale Chihuly ... exhibition at NYBG

I’ve been told by another HO, that Top Chef once did a challenge where chefs had to make something inspired by Chihuly glass. Now that I can tie his glass into food, I am urging anyone that has the opportunity, to go check out this exhibit … truly spectacular. It can be viewed day or night if you can go for both do both, If you only have one choice, check it out in the evening. https://www.nybg.org/event/chihuly/
Can grab a bite while there or grab a bite on nearby Arthur ave

for anyone not familiar with his work

Actually, I just realized that it was an episode where the chefs got sent to different casinos in Vegas and had to creat something that inspired them there. One had a lot of Chihuly glass and the chef used that. Actually, that chef, Robin, was eliminated! The memory ain’t quite what it used to be!

We were at the last Chihuly exhibit at the beautiful NYBG and it certainly was an exciting colorful addition to the seasonal changes there. I can suggest Hudson Garden Grille as a dining choice. It has been upgraded and now has waiter service. Pretty spot. They do take reservations. As mentioned, Arthur Ave. is not far away, too.

Visited the lovely NYBG yesterday for the annual Antique Garden Show and saw some of the Chihuly glass sculptures planted around the park during our tram ride. The garden is blossoming all over right now and beautiful.
The concessions were open including a burger truck and the popular taco truck. We opted for a couple of tacos, but had to wait on line for a while. Good, though…
