My faves in London are the Barbary, Barrafina and Koya. Have eaten at all of them many times and love them all. Went to Dishoom over the years but was too hard to get into our last trip in 2023. Barbary is in Neal’s Yard (I think they just opened another one in Notting Hill) and a wonderful mix of middle eastern, Mediterranean and northern African food. You can reserve now and you sit at the bar so a good place for singles. Barrafina is Spanish and you can also reserve now-we usually go to the one in convent garden area and Koya is delicious udon noodles and other japanese specialties. Love the diversity of food in London!

We are London-bound this week; it will be our first visit. Thank you to this thread and another for recs. I made reservations at Rules and Hoppers. I happened across the Hoppers cookbook a few months ago and want to eat everything in it, so when I realized it was in London it was a perfect fit. For the sanity of my family I cannot make this trip all about food, but if all goes well I’ll make it to breakfast at Honey & Co one day and also hit a couple other HO recommendations.
