I had a fantastic lunch here a few weeks ago. Counter service is friendly and warm. We shared curry goat and oxtail and also got some piping hot plantains to go with. My husband devoured the oxtail; I’m not a fan (so fatty) but he was satisfied. The goat was delicious-- hard to find goat in the area. It had nice heat to it without being too spicy and was very tender. We had a huge chunk of moist, sweet coconut cake for dessert. This is definitely a local gem that we’ll be back to.
Got jerk wings from them once. One of the wings had a large bump on the bone that I’d never encountered anywhere before. Haven’t been back. I really miss Chow’s down the block; their wings were amazing.
