10 hounds gathered to sample Chef Gator’s new lunch buffet on Oct 29.
For $12 we enjoyed a wide array of Southern style dishes, so many that I couldn’t sample them all. Included were crispy fried chicken! blue corn grits with wild mushrooms, biscuits and gravy, cornbread, waffles, fried catfish, coleslaw, tomato-cucumber salad, green beans with pecans, collard greens, red beans and sausage, shrimp etouffee and of course mac and cheese. Everything was tasty especially the fried chicken and the grits with mushrooms were worth the drive by themselves (think of the most buttery ummami loaded dish you’ve ever tasted. I know there were photos taken and other dishes sampled, anyone else want to chime in?y] in your post title
This sounds super! We’re going to be in Mill Valley over Thanksgiving so will want to check it out. I was raised in Atlanta and have never completely gotten over the food Thanks. Will look forward to photos.
