Solid neighborhood joint, just a few blocks from my favorite microcinema.
Let’s face it, the $1.50 street taco is long gone. These bad boys are $3.50/ea, but they are PACKED with meat. In this case, pork adobada and pork al pastor. The former is a shredded, spicy pulled pork. The latter, familar chunks of marinated roasted piggy. Complete with a glass bottle Mexi-coke or your favorite Jarritos.
They also feature (naturally) burritos and tortas, and include lengua in their meat choices.
Should you find yourself in midtown looking for a quick lunch or a VERY respectable late night nosh, this should hit the spot nicely.
