I just blogged about Macon Bistro on upper Connecticut Avenue. It’s a blend of Macon, Georgia and Mâcon, France, and it’s good. Deviled eggs with roe and a bacon dusting
a Salad (their spelling) Lyonnaise (superb lardons, but a soft-boiled rather than poached or fried egg)
and Poulet Grand-Mere that was delicious
As it happens, we went to a lovely event in their Magnolia Room last night. The food and the staff were very good.
