Another visit, mostly different things even though I wanted to repeat a few.
We had banana blossom fritters, curry leaf mushrooms, mutton, beef and green peppercorns, and aubergine curry, with parotta and idiyappam / string hoppers. Also a complimentary rice pudding which was caramelized and absolutely delicious.
My only gripe here is the portion size and maybe the relative pricing of vegetarian and non-vegetarian mains (and the accompaniments, which are included with the lunch meal but not with dinner).
But I’m sure I’ll be back, as it’s not easy to find this kind of food and flavor profile in New York.
