Centro Pizza in Burlingame, Burlingame Ave

I don’t see any mentions of this fantastic pizzeria on HO. I wanted to put this on the radar for those of us who appreciate Neopolitan pies. Certainly not looking to start a pizza war here.

I have had the Margherita and 'Nduja pies a number of times and they have been consistently perfect. Char, crust, just perfectly moist and above all delicious. If you are in the upper peninsula, I strongly encourage you to try them.

Darn. Evenings only. I was hoping to grab a couple of pies during the day. How do they rate among all the good Neapolitan pies in the Bay Area?

The pies here are very good and reasonably priced. I prefer this place to Pizzeria Delfina down the road. The 3 formaggio is very good. It’s a solid place for Neopolitan pies.

Centro was great. A minor quibble- the oven was gas fired. A little bit of wood smoke would make the pies even better.

The magherita:

The sapore, proscuitto with burrata. They said the burrata was premium. I liked it quite a bit.
