Going to Cebu to work for a few weeks. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations for Cebu City?
Just an FYI, Cebu is known for its Lechon, which I can attest is the best in the world that I have had.

I haven’t been to Cebu in years, but I’d go try Giuseppe Genco’s restaurants, Giuseppe Pizzeria and Sicilian Roast. Giuseppe was the chef who opened the Italian restaurant at the Mactan (Cebu) Shangrila.
For lechon? Rico’s and Zubuchon come to mind as places where you can buy it by the kilo. (Of course, buying a whole one from a specialist is the best way to go, but not all of us have access to a kitchen, a dining room, and the 5 or more good friends needed to finish a whole pig.
A trusted friend said the Peking duck at Mott 32 Cebu was very, very good.
