I ran across this in my Atlas Obscura wanderings. I had never seen anything about this before. At a time when anti-immigrant attacks are becoming more common - especially as Sikhs are so often mis-identified by haters as Muslims, which they are NOT - I thought others might enjoy a “feel good” read to start off 2020 on a positive note:
