always thought this place was just macarons, which i can take or leave. but. i found out that they also have croissants and elegant pastries, so had to stop in for a year-end treat. picked a plain croissant and a royal au chocolate — almond dacquoise, chocolate mousse, chocolate mirror glaze, and gold edible leaf. both were outstanding — a prefect way to close out this horrible year.
fyi: the somerville shop is an outpost of their original location in salem.
