Standard diner food for lunch, in a place that’s been going since 1925. A BLT on toasted sourdough came with chips and was everything you’d want from a sandwich. They offer a range of burgers and the Winooski was picked. Google told me later that Winooski is a city adjacent to Burlington but I don’t know if there’s anything in the burger that makes it local. It’s a good burger though, with both grilled and raw onion and the usual other salad toppings. And a bun which didn’t fall apart in the middle of you eating it. Good fries as well.
We came back for breakfast next day and it was just as satisfying. I just lurve breakfasts in places like this.
