A good friend who grew up in Vallejo turned me on to Bud’s. Burgers are classic greasy spoon good…but the fries are fried in beef tallow. Definitely order the fries.

Went for lunch yesterday and was impressed by their burgers - their homemade buns are everything. I’m from Quebec, so I’m a French fry snob and these passed muster, or mustard. My only critique is that they could seriously benefit from some salt. Burgers seemed to be charbroiled and were a lot more flavorful and juicier than similar fast food burger spots.
