I was close by their location and hungry so I stopped in for a brew and a meal. The bartender was very cool, let me try 3 different beers and the winner was the SunRift IPA. I also ordered an Italian Grinder that sounded fairly traditional but when it was served it looked a bit novel to me. But I am no expert on grinders. Nice selection of capicola, mortadela and salami. They finish it with a vinaigrette instead of the oil and vinegar I am used to but it worked rather well.
The side of Mac and Cheese was good, very creamy, but not great.
I will be going back, again, and I may try the grinder again, but both the wings and the brat are calling my name.
The best part of the bar was the staff, though. Very friendly without being fake. Nice people and they serve good beers and food. I have only been there 3 times in 3 years, not sure why I visit brewpubs so seldom since I enjoy them nearly every time I go.
Back at my place above the lake after a winter away from home. Good to be back.
That is a Tamarack/Larch on the left. It will regrow its needles soon, it is not dead.
