This small unassuming shop opened up in Matawan recently. It advertises by name as a sweet and savory crepe restaurant, but is really a family-run Middle Eastern restaurant.
Was greeted by the owners upon entering, husband and wife, and served by them. Everything is cooked fresh in front of you as the kitchen/grill area is visible.
Had lentil soup and hummus to start. For dinner, had the chicken shawarma platter with salad, rice, & pita bread. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Was given homemade mango flan and baklava complimentary for coming in.
