Not a bad thing, but this board is starting to sound like a north of Boston board. Are there no South Shore posters besides me?
Went to Boatyard Bistro in the Hingham Shipyard last Saturday night. Not a particularly new restaurant (maybe been there a year), but was very happy with the food there. Really good and fresh antipasto for two to start with their on site baked focaccia bread and hummus. Could have had that for the meal, but continued on with the grilled mahi mahi special with an arugula/strawberry salad. My wife had the shrimp scampi over linguini and broccoli rabe ($20.00, and she took 2/3 of it home). Both delicious. need to go back soon. Really nice menu, well thought out wine list by the glass and very friendly and knowledgeable service. Run by former North End veterans. Too full for desert. Very basic interior of French white subway tiles and neutral colors, but comfortable.

Hmmm, maybe a wonderful moderator could split your helpful post about Boatyard Bistro off into its own topic so the South Shore can represent!
