Lunch at Blount Clam Shack usually signals “summer” for us. We made our first visit of the year last weekend. B and I split the giant lobster (if I remember correctly it is $33 this year) and the New Bedford scallops (we expected small bay scallops but these were big, meaty, sweet, delicious). SO, of course, went with his usual hot dog. We got clam cakes as a side - the first time I’ve had them at Blount and the last (leaden, tough, just wrong). We got there early, ~noon. The line was long an hour or so later. We were in no hurry.
Spotted this gorgeous tricked-out Austin Mini down the street (we are Mini enthusiasts).
