Biggest ripoff dish in Hong Kong?

What’re the most overpriced dishes in Hong Kong?

Here’s a vote. This dish (beef brisket rice plate) from Ocean Park was actually not bad. But its just really expensive at $188 for what you get. They do cursorily check bags now for those considering food smuggling into the park. But its possible since the security person barely had interest in looking beyond what you showed them. My original plan of food smuggling was foiled by Tsui Wah in Aberdeen, which we found they only sold breakfast in the morning (duh…)

Its definitely not me who’s getting 1, 8 and 8 from this dish.

Holy crapola - 188? Thank goodness I avoided all the food vendors at HK Disneyland. I was duly warned by my sister so I think we only bought a drink. Luckily it was my first day in HK, so I was also too jet-lagged to want to eat anything.

I heard Disneyland cracks down on food smuggling a lot more than Ocean Park.

On the upside, while we were eating at the Ocean Park cafe at the hilltop gondola terminus, there was a thunderstorm and we watched the storm unfolded right in front of us. The food might be a ripoff, but the view was great.
