It used to be Cape Cod Fish and Chips. It was awesome.
The original family sold it, and it became PJ’s Fish and Chips. The staff there never quite got the process down. Inconsistent results.
Now, it’s been taken over by a younger dude whose family apparently owns another fish & chip place out in Rancho or Folsom… I think it’s Tugboat, which has a few locations around town.
I haven’t tried the teriyaki plates yet, but the fish, chips, and shrimp are all back to their former crispy, golden brown glory. The prices are still reasonable as well.
They’ve added a few other items, like oysters, calamari, and fish tacos.
Glad to have the neighborhood spot back and functioning well again.
