I guess DF cheese curds are the ubiquitous for WI. Muenster and maple would be more of a hometown call, though. Pretty quick and easy. I think they just copy and paste from other sources.

I heard that! I couldn’t do a taste test, but anytime I am interested in ordering calamari, I will ask how it comes: rings, tentacles, fingers, etc. I don’t care for the fingers, but will eat homemade, pan fried calamari steaks, alà abalone. Tentacles, yes. Rings, only if I trust the place. One place around here had it on their menu as an appy and called it ‘Irish Wedding Rings’.

Buffalo wings may be the snack in upstate NY, but for NYC a slice of pizza is it.
