I’m still not comfortable eating indoors at restaurants. On another forum, a friend is organizing lunches in Berkeley and Oakland. I’ll leave Oakland to her, but let’s assemble a list of places here.
My list so far:
Middle East Cafe on San Pablo
La Mission, University
Tacubaya, Fourth Street
Isyare, Fourth Street
Cafe M, Fourth Street
Angeline, downtown on Shattuck
Standard Fare, West Berkeley
Any one of the places around the downtown Berkeley BART station, take out and sit in the newly renovated plaza
Cali Alley, West Berkeley
Others?
A few additional ideas (haven’t tried all of them but some are on our always expanding list of restaurants-to-visit)
The Butchers Son
Jupiter
Gregoire’s (not many outdoor seats but I like their food)
Korean Superette
Mezzo
Gather
Ah, and The Butcher’s Son shares an outdoor space with Rose Pizzeria.
Does Gather have a patio? I don’t recall an outdoor space there.
Pizzeria Da Laura has a patio.
Yes, they have a “covered” patio in the back. You can see picks on Yelp
Comal, Le Note, 900 Grayson, Cafe Leila, Way Station, Cafe Latina, Saul’s.
Do you mean Casa Latina, on San Pablo? Where is their outdoor space?
Cheeseboard.
Yes CASA Latina. They use to have a couple of table out front.
Smokehouse
Donato & Co.
In the Wood
La Mediteranée
Juanita and Maude
Imm Thai
Homemade Cafe
Tanzie’s
Rose Pizzeria on University
La Note on Shattuck has a back patio.
