Or Xata by The Bruery (Placentia, CA) - Blonde Ale
What sounds like a dessert beer works out really well by combining the spices and hops of an ale with enough cinnamon, vanilla and lactose that you see the connection to horchata but don’t taste the sweetness. Very well made combination.
Murkside of the Moon by Shred Beer Company (Rocklin, CA) - NEIPA
This IPA changed quite a bit as it warmed up - first it had relatively little juiciness and very heavy dose of dankness with an unusual astringent, sharp flavor in the finish. But over time there is much more peach and orange flavors upfront and the dankness got smoother with floral notes on the background and no astringency and a dry, medium bitter finish - started as a disappointment but finished as a enjoyable hazy IPA
A light drinking, dry hopped IPA. Perfect for the cookout I attended today and, overall, for drinking outside in almost 90 degree, somewhat humid New England summer weather.
I have been looking for a good dry cider and not having any luck. Considering how the market has been booming, I figure there are good ones out there, I just have not found the ones I like yet.
