Looks like later in the fall, but the one I am most looking forward to is Smoke Shop in Kendall!
Also, I just saw on Eater that Hill Country Barbecue (NYC based) is looking to open in Fort Point. I’m excited to have some new BBQ options in town.
I am looking forward to Smoke Shop BBQ in the old Tommy Doyles space at One Kendall. However, I would be stunned if it is open before the end of the year. When they first announced the restaurant it was for a fall opening, that was subsequently pushed back to ‘before the end of the year’. When I was in the area last night it looked as if virtually no work had been completed or was underway inside or out. The Tommy Doyles signage is still up outside. I’m bummed, but I think it will be a push for them to open by the end of Q1 2016.
