There’s a banner at the top of my screen now, “Make sure you check out our other dining and cooking discussions!” with a “Go!” button. The button just redirects to the HO home page. Can we make it go away?
If you hover over the right side of the banner, an X will appear, allowing you to close it. It doesn’t come back unless you log out and in again.

Yes, it’s mysterious. And annoying! But now it’s gone for both of us.
Probably a bug. Its supposed to show to new visitors to this site, certainly not to either of you, unless you are using a new browser/ computer.
