A pretty much perfect lunch place and our first meal in South Africa, this trip. We were wrecked by an overnight flight, arriving at 5am, but a couple of hours sleep was all we needed to restore ourselves. A short walk along the beach front from our hotel brought us here. There’s an excellent burger, topped with avocado and bacon. And a ham and cheese sandwich. Both with chips. And a nice surprise to see malt vinegar for the chips – one of the good legacies of colonial times, I suppose (along with cricket).
