This is the café at the town’s agricultural auction centre, which is also the venue for the monthly farmers market - our reason for being there .
I needed sustenance for a morning’s urban foraging so that’ll be the Full Breakfast , please. Two very tasty sausages, two bacon rashers, fried egg, mushrooms, baked beans, two slices of bread, one of them fried to nicely crisp. A dollop of tinned tomatoes was declined - I never think tomatoes add anything to breakfast and certainly not the slop that is the tinned variety. I waddled away to look at chunks of beef from Belted Galloways (hung for 31 days, so should be dead tasty). Herself had just sipped at a rather insipid coffee.
