I’m taking a day trip to Florence in a few weeks, and would love any recommendations for exceptional bakeries/pastries/coffee that the HO community might have. You all help make for the most delicious travel adventures!

When I was there last summer, the most memorable breakfast for sure was a Sunday morning that we spent rafting down the Arno. We pulled onto the banks under the Ponte Vecchio, and someone waved to us from the balcony 20feet above us.
A basket on a rope appeared, with bread still warm from the oven and bottles of prosecco.
All arranged by the tour guide, so I dont know to recreate it…but definitely memorable!
