Is it similar to a rum baba? Brioche soaked with rum?
I’m pretty sure this is the cake the OP was showing. It was super popular in the 80s.

I would like to make it, but I don’t have this ring mold.
You can bake it in any pan that will hold the same volume. It’s delicious!
